All stages start off. Turning one on enables its Run button; it never starts another stage.

1 · Pull newsSearch Reuters, AP, BBC and AFP first, then other sources within the page budget. No ranking or AI.

2 · Ranking

Top articles

Score the full source set, then keep only the top X. Rerun ranking to apply a new limit.

3 · ExclusionsJev checks articles in parallel. See rule probabilities and timings as they finish.

4 · Manual rewriteEnable a Rewrite button on each stored article. One draft per click; no bulk rewrite or validation pass.

Automatic scheduling

Enable automatic scheduler

OFF on every server start. When on, checks every minute: ingest if 8 hours have elapsed, recheck saved editions, prepare due daily feeds (including bulk rewrites), and deliver local notifications. Turning off lets an active tick finish.

Scheduler off.

Test user & configuration

Test user ID

API access requires a key. User sign-in is still deferred; this UUID selects a test profile. Edit prompts in config/rewrite-system.txt and config/reading-modes.json.

Every new pull requires a US event, a mention of the US, or a US publisher. Load stored still shows earlier collections. Ranking keeps your top X for testing; new daily feeds use only articles matching the US union from the latest 24 hours.
